Tarashastra is an AI-first technology company founded in 2025 and headquartered in Malkapur, Maharashtra, India. We build conversational AI products grounded in classical Vedic astrology (Jyotish), making personalised cosmic guidance accessible to anyone with a phone.

Traditional Vedic astrology is rich, rigorous, and rare. A genuine consultation with a learned astrologer is expensive, often inaccessible, and frequently inconsistent across practitioners. We saw an opportunity: pair the precision of astronomical computation with the contextual reasoning of large language models, and deliver the result inside the apps people already use every day — WhatsApp and Telegram.

Our core product is a chart-aware conversational AI astrologer. Users share their birth details once. The system builds a precise sidereal birth chart in the background and uses it as the grounding for every future answer. Users can then ask any question — career, marriage, finances, health, timing of major decisions — and receive responses tailored to their specific chart, in plain language, on the platforms they already use every day.

We monetise through a transparent credit system. Every new user gets two full readings free; after that, simple INR / international packs unlock more conversations. No subscriptions, no auto-renewals, no surprise charges. The model is digital-native: each marginal answer has a marginal compute cost, and we price accordingly.
