1. Acceptance of Terms
Tarashastra is the consumer brand for astrology products and services operated by Nakshatra, an Udyam-registered proprietary micro enterprise. By using Tarashastra ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you must have verifiable parental consent as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
3. Service Description
Tarashastra provides automated Vedic astrology guidance on WhatsApp and Telegram, Kundali Milan on the website, personalised LifeBook PDF reports, and separately booked live consultations with a human astrologer. The services may use your saved birth details to prepare and discuss your chart.
4. AI Disclosure
Important: WhatsApp and Telegram astrology responses and LifeBook interpretations are generated with artificial intelligence based on astronomical calculations and may contain errors or inconsistencies. LifeBook celebrity scores compare specified chart features; they are not personality tests, predictions of success, or endorsements by the people shown. A product explicitly described as a "live personal consultation" is conducted by a human astrologer and is separate from the automated service.

Critical Disclaimer: This Service is for entertainment, educational, and spiritual guidance purposes only. Astrological readings provided by Tarashastra should NOT be considered as:
- Medical or health advice — consult a qualified doctor
- Financial or investment advice — consult a SEBI-registered advisor
- Legal advice — consult a qualified advocate
- Mental health advice — consult a licensed therapist
- A substitute for professional consultation of any kind
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the readings.
6. Credits, Payments & Refunds
Credit System: The Service operates on a credit-based model. New users receive free credits. Additional credits can be purchased via Razorpay (UPI, cards, wallets, net banking).
LifeBook: The LifeBook is a separate, one-time digital PDF purchase at the price displayed before checkout. It does not add chat credits or include a live consultation or printed book. Generation runs in the background after payment is verified; please allow 3-4 hours, with longer delays possible during service interruptions. When email delivery is shown at checkout, the completed report is sent to the email address you provide. The private receipt page also shows progress and provides the completed download. Review your birth and contact details before paying, and keep your receipt link private. If a payment, generation, or delivery problem occurs, contact support@tarashastra.com with your LifeBook order reference for assistance.
Live Consultations: Consultation fees are one-time payments for the duration selected during booking. A preferred time is a request and is not confirmed until our team contacts you. If the requested time is unavailable, we will offer alternative times. If no mutually acceptable alternative can be arranged, the consultation fee will be returned through the original payment method.
Refund Policy:
- Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except in cases of technical failure where credits were deducted but no reading was provided.
- If the AI fails to generate a response after deducting credits, credits are automatically refunded to your balance.
- For consultation rescheduling, payment disputes, or errors, contact us at creator@tarashastra.com within 7 days of the transaction.
- Razorpay is our payment processor. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.
7. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate birth information for meaningful readings
- Use the Service responsibly and respectfully
- Do not attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service
- Do not use the Service to generate readings for third parties without their knowledge
- Do not attempt prompt injection or manipulation of the AI system
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, delete, and export your data at any time using bot commands (/mydata, /deletedata).
LifeBook orders are stored separately from bot conversations. For access, correction, or deletion requests concerning a LifeBook, email creator@tarashastra.com with your order reference. Bot commands do not automatically change LifeBook order records.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, its code, AI prompts, branding, and generated content are protected by intellectual property rights. You may save and use your personal readings for your own purposes, but may not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit them.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any decisions made based on astrological readings
- We are not liable for AI errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations in readings
- We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss beyond our control
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 30 days preceding the claim
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data via /deletedata.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the bot. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
